 I can't quite pinpoint why I liked this book so much, but it was such a pleasurable read!
First of all, I suspect P.A. Lupton is a neat freak. *grinning* I was so impressed that the spelling in the book was impeccable. Usually there are so many mistakes in self-published books, and here there was just a couple of accidentally omitted words, and that's it.
Secondly, the book just flows and you sort of go along with the flow. I kept expecting Brianna to mess up, to have a full blown hissy fit, but she stayed reasonable, rational and willing to learn how to live in her new reality. Read Full Review

 

Reading the Paranormal

 This was definitely a fun read.  Chock full of vampires (evil and otherwise), witches (ignorant and otherwise) and dead bodies (pretty much all dead, no otherwise involved), it has a touch of romance (more than a touch, actually) and a bucket of family tragedy all wrapped up with a cool. funky, interesting take on how the witches and vampires came about. Reading Between the Wines

 This is a fast-paced novel that gets going almost immediately when Brianna finds herself facing a murder-victim who bears an unsettling resemblance to her. It becomes clear there is a serial killer on the loose and Brianna determined to find them out. Soon we are in the midst of a range of interesting characters from the forthright Brianna, to sexy Agent Morrison, to security-expert Nathan Donovan who seems to have a something to hide. Lupton has done a great job of making the characters believable and understandable, even when supernatural elements being to creep in. Read full Review
